ScreenCastsOnline Affiliate Scheme


As you are probably aware, ScreenCastsOnline has a paid for premium content membership scheme called ScreenCastsOnline Extra! This was created back in March 2005 when I first decided to make ScreenCastsOnline my full time job.

ImageOne of the difficulties in growing an Internet based business is that I'm extremely dependant on "word of mouth" referrals as I only operate as a single individual and I don't have an army of salespeople or marketeers. As new memberships are the life blood of ScreenCastsOnline, I've decided to start up an affiliate scheme, to help existing ScreenCastsOnline viewers to promote the show and in all fairness, get some rewards for their effort.

In effect, to create the marketing army out of the existing ScreenCastsOnline audience!

What I Need You To Do!

It's very simple really! All you need to do is to sign up as an affiliate of ScreenCastsOnline. You don't have to be an Extra! member to do this and it won't cost you a penny. You just need to complete a simple web form to register as an affiliate. This will give you a special identifier code that you can use and then just promote ScreenCastsOnline as best you can. The only stipulation is that you must have a PayPal account to receive any commission due

How Do I Promote ScreenCastsOnline?

When you sign up to become an affiliate, you'll get access into the affiliate web site and your own account. Contained on the website are a host of links and banners all pre-configured with your own special code. Each link or banner already has the HTML code written for you so all you need to do is copy and paste the HTML code into your blog or webpage and your good to go. What will happen then is that anyone clicking through to the ScreenCastsOnline website via one of your links will be recorded as being sent by you. If they then subsequently decide to become a member, then you'll get some commission (see below)

What's In It For Me?

The good stuff! For every new member signing up to ScreenCastsOnline Extra! using your special link, you'll get some commission via PayPal. For each new member joining, you'll get 30% commission which currently works out to $14.70 USD. That's $14.70 for each new member you introduce to ScreenCastsOnline Extra!

What's even better is if the new member also becomes an affiliate and recommends someone else and they join, you'll get 10% of that membership fee as well, without having to do anything!

OK! So How Do I Sign Up?

As I said, it's very simple...

Step 1 - Access the sign up page via the link below and click on the "Create Account" link to become an affiliate:

Step 2 - Once you have registered you'll receive a username and password for your affiliate account. Simply logon to the affiliate site (links will be provided once you've signed up) and access the special links and banners to include on your website or blog.

Step 3 - Get the word out! Be creative in promoting ScreenCastsOnline and just let people know about the show. Please do not spam people, it's just not nice! Be sure to include your special links on your website, blogs, in emails, forum signatures.....

Step 4 - Monitor how the promotion is going. Within the affiliate web site there is a reporting section where you can run reports to see how you are doing.

Payment Terms & Conditions

All payments will be made via PayPal and you will need to enter the PayPal email address you want funds sending to during the signup process.

Payments will be made at the end of each calendar month.

Payments will only be made for a minimum payout of $50 USD, any commissions due under this minimum payout will be carried forward to the following month until the minimum payout level is reached.
