Continuing with our look at Apples latest OS for the iPhone and iPad, I also take a look at some of the new features of the dramatically enhanced watchOS 3.

Apple have significantly improved the Apple Watch with the release of watchOS 3 by increasing performance and removing the friction points that were so evident in the first releases of watchOS. Performance is drastically improved and the usability of the Apple Watch has been transformed - so much so that unless you really need GPS or waterproofing, upgrading to a series 2 Apple Watch is optional.

In this episode I explore some of the changes made to enhance the functionality of the Apple Watch and demonstrate some of the new constructs for accessing and navigating Apple Watch apps.

The full tutorial covers:

  • Introduction
  • Apple Watch App
  • Using Watch Faces
  • Configuring The Dock
  • Other Watch App Options
  • Configuring Apps
  • Health App Update
  • Activity App Update
  • Workout App Update
  • Messages App Update
  • Bedtime

Downloading to iTunes. Over 300 megs for a 36 minute show? Sure you didn't leave a section encoded in 4K?

Oh Hang on, just read the weekly update email, sorry.

Yeah! Sorry about that Neil - at least I didn't put the 1080p file in the feed - over 900MB :) Back to normal next week.
