Tutorial Description

iCloud Family Sharing is a great way to both reduce and manage the costs of buying Apps, Music, Videos and iBooks.

Up to six Family Members can pool their current purchases and share access with each other. With the iCloud Family Sharing "Organiser" in place, all purchases can be made with a single credit card, and if you have kids, you can authorise all requested purchase with "Ask To Buy".

With the soon to be launched Apple Music App, you'll also be able to get a Family membership plan - six individual accounts for just $14.99.

You may have been putting it off, but now might be a good time to checkout iCloud Family Sharing.

In this episode, I take a look at iCloud Family Sharing from a users perspective on the iPad.

Following on from this week's Mac show, I take a look at setting up a user for iCloud Family Sharing, in this case an under 13. As part of the iCloud Family Sharing features, you can set up an "Ask to Buy" policy, and I demonstrate how this works in practice.
