Tutorial Description

iCloud Family Sharing is a great way to both reduce and manage the costs of buying Apps, Music, Videos and iBooks.

Up to six Family Members can pool their current purchases and share access with each other. With the iCloud Family Sharing "Organiser" in place, all purchases can be made with a single credit card, and if you have kids, you can authorise all requested purchase with "Ask To Buy".

With the soon to be launched Apple Music App, you'll also be able to get a Family membership plan - six individual accounts for just $14.99.

You may have been putting it off, but now might be a good time to checkout iCloud Family Sharing.

In this episode I take a look at setting up iCloud Family Sharing, even if you've been using multiple Apple IDs with an individual account.

The full show includes:

  • SCO Demo Family
  • SCODemo Family Macs
  • Setting Up Family Sharing - Organiser
  • Multiple Apple IDs for App Store & iTunes
  • Setting Up Other Family Members
  • Accepting Invitations
  • Hiding Purchases for Privacy
  • Ask To Buy
  • Setting Up A Childs Apple ID
  • Photos & Calendar
