When it comes to photo editing and organization there are a number of applications in the market including Adobe's Lightroom and Apple's Photos application.
Luminar 3 is another entry into this market, that brings along some unique features. It includes a photo management system that stays in sync with your photos in the Finder and includes some advanced and modern editing tools that you just won't find in other photo editing apps.
In this screencast, Todd walks you through managing your photos in Luminar 3 and then covers some of the many editing tools available in the app. He also shows you how this flexible program can be used as a plug-in within Photos, and how to back up your Luminar catalog.

It can be difficult to do, even for professionals. This is where High Dynamic Range (HDR) photography comes into play.
This week, Todd explains what HDR photography is and shows us how to take multiple exposure or bracketed photos to get an optimal exposure. You also learn how to blend these photos using the Aurora HDR 2019 app on the Mac, as well as editing the resulting image and then sharing it as a print or for digital use.
