Tutorial Description

If you use AirPods on multiple devices, you probably already know how much of a pain it can be to get them to connect to your Mac after using them on your iOS device. AirBuddy brings the same AirPods connecting experience you have on iOS to the Mac.

In this week's tip, Mike shows you how to set up and install AirBuddy so you can quickly and easily connect your AirPods to your Mac, even after they've been connected to a different device. You'll also learn how to use the Today Widget in Notification Center to quickly check the charge of not only your AirPods and the AirPods case, but your iPhone as well.

The full tutorial covers:

  • Installing AirBuddy
  • Setting Up AirBuddy
  • Notification Center Widget

The AirPods work with this app on macOS, but the sound quality is just awful. it sounds like a cellular phone call when playing videos or music. Is that normal? (make them almost unusual on a Mac.

I've never encountered that issue on my Mac. Occasionally I get that on my iPhone when a call interrupts a podcast or something (so I know what you're talking about with the audio quality), but never experienced that on my Mac or with AirBuddy.
