Tutorial Description

Do you sometimes wish you could just send a recently clipped piece of text, image or web link across from your iPad to your iPhone? Or working on your Mac, just want to send some text to copy to your iPhone?

Well you can, and you can do it seamlessly and automatically using iCloud and CloudClipboard.

Cloud Clipboard is available as a universal app on the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch via the iTunes App store. You can also find a Mac client over on the Mac App Store

CloudClipboard is highly configurable and allows you to capture many types of clippings manually or as a background process. Once you've captured your clippings, iCloud syncs your clippings with your other devices running CloudClipboard automatically, ready for sharing or copying to the local clipboard on that device.

With full support for iOS and OSX, CloudClipboard is a great cross platform solution for all your clipping needs.

This full tutorial includes sections on:

What about pasting content from CloudClipboard to other apps?

You should be able to copy the contents of the CloudClipboard entry to the device clipboard for pasting into other apps

Can't see much difference between CloudClipboard and PasteBot which has been around many years.

The main difference was the use of iCloud and the way you can configure the background processing of auto pasting. Been a while since I used Pastebot TBH.
