Tutorial Description

Daedalus Touch is a fully featured iOS text editor that seamlessly subs and integrates with Ulysses III - the text editor for the Mac. Instead of files and folders, Ulysses allows you to create sheets and stacks, just like sheets and stacks of paper.

All your written information can be managed within the application and sync'd via iCloud, either to other Macs using Ulysses II or Daedalus Touch on iOS devices.

Add in a beautiful UI, support for simple gesture based navigation, as well as support for Markdown, Daedalus Touch takes a fresh approach to text editing.

Todd Olthoff takes your through the basics of Daedalus Touch and covers the following topics:

  • Getting Started with Daedalus
  • Navigating with Gestures
  • Settings & Search
  • Editing Features
  • Sync Settings
  • Export Settings

Thanks Regina! Glad the tutorial helped you out. It is a different set up but once you get the hang of it, it really is a great app!
