Tutorial Description

Fantastical uses a natural language engine to allow you to set up calendar events really easily. Already acknowledged as one of the top Mac applications, it's now available for the iPhone.

With it's unique DayTicker and event list, Fantastical allows you to see all your events at a glance, and you can even set up your events using Siri dictation on supported devices.

Just enter your event in natural language and Fantastical will parse your event to pull out the day and date, the location and the time. It will even handle date ranges and repeating events. It really is a beautifully designed application and great fun to use.

This show also contains a section on the new ScreenCastsOnline help desk.

This full tutorial includes sections on:

  • First Run
  • Adding Events
  • Choosing A Calendar
  • Searching & Displaying Calendars
  • Siri Dictation
  • Limitations

Very neat app that I will have to check out! And I like the new help desk feature as well. Thanks for all the orderly knowledge you pass along.
