Tutorial Description

The first of a two part episode looking at various options on how to move information from one application to another.

In this episode I discuss my personal requirements for where I keep all my digital "stuff" dependent on it's intended usage moving on to looking at Pocket, a great way of capturing webpages, videos and images. Initially looking at setting up Pocket, I follow on in the next episode by looking at some of the integration pipelines available within my favourite apps.

There is another (easier?) way of deleting items in Pocket. Simply swipe to the right on any of the article "tiles" (This works in both the "tile" view as well as the list view) and you will get a set of icons for actions, including tag, mark as read, favorite, delete, and send-to/share with other apps.

Thanks for that Donald!

I could pretend I was leaving that for part 2, but in all honesty, that feature passed me by ;-)

BTW a new update to the Pocket iOS app came out today that provides an even easier way to delete articles - you can delete them while reading them by pressing & holding on the Archive button; a menu will pop up offering the choice to delete the article right away.
