Tutorial Description

Continuity is a new feature in OS X and iOS that integrates features and blurs the line between both operating systems.

Handoff allows you to seamless work on one device and then "hand off" the application to another device based on your physical proximity. Using Safari on your iPad? Walk up to your Mac and a new Safari icon will pop up in the dock, allowing you to jump to the same web page on your Mac. Writing an email on your iPhone? Your Mac will pop up an email icon in the dock, allowing you to continue writing the email on your Mac. And it works from Mac to iOS or from iOS to iOS - very cool!

Instant Hotspot allows you to use your iPhone or Celullar iPad for instant access to WifI - no configuration required.

Phone Relay - When your iPhone goes off in another room, answer it directly from your Mac or iPad. Or even place voice calls from your iPhone via your Mac.

SMS Relay - OS X Yosemite and iOS 8.1 allow you to forward or reply to text messages directly on your Mac.

The full tutorial covers:
