When it comes to getting things done, a little planning and organizing can go a long way.

In Part 3 of the GTD Productivity series, we show you how to leverage the hard work you did in capturing (Part 1), clarifying, and organizing (Part 2) into increased efficiency by utilizing your task management tools to display just the tasks you need to do, when you need to do them.

In this video, we cover the importance of the review process to make sure everything is good to go before you get down and dirty with the actual work. We also show you some task management principles that can help you get a handle on your projects and walk you through setting up some custom OmniFocus perspectives that can make completing your tasks a breeze.

This was absolutely a great segment. I have been using Omnifocus for over a year, and this tutorial has taken me to a whole new level. I do have one question. I use Microsoft Outlook because my work place is on Microsoft Office. Is there any way to send emails from Microsoft Outlook to Omnifocus to create a link back to the original emails in Outlook?

Hi Nick, I'm glad you are finding Mikes tutorials useful. I don't believe there is a way to do that at the moment.

Excellent content again, Don. Thank you very much. And, as an Omnifocus user I really appreciated seeing it in that context ('scuse the pun! 😉).

And ... really loved the dreamy Silent Night music at the end with the bells ringing. Lovely!

Thank you and Happy New Year to you and your family and all who work in ScreenCastsOnline!

Hi Don, I have been using OmniFocus on all my devices since it was introduced and this 3-part series helped me to revisit features that I had previously ignored or used ineffectively. Mike's steady and thorough explanation regarding his use of OmniFocus has helped me optimize the software and raised my confidence in using technology to clear my mind! Thanks and Happy New Year!
