Tutorial Description

Adobe Slate is a great way to create stunning stories using words and images, directly from your iPad.

Think of it as your own personal designer, guiding you to create beautiful and responsive articles for sharing on any device or on the web.

Pull in images from many different online services or directly from your iPad, add some text, perhaps some links and then let Adobe Slate format your story using one of the many different themes. Once you're done, export your stories (or slates) via Facebook, Twitter, email or publish on Adobe's free web hosting service.

Adobe Slate is simple to use and best of all, completely free.

In this first of a two part series, I take a look at the creation process.

The full tutorial covers:

  • Introduction
  • Home Screen
  • Creating A Story
  • Adding Text
  • Adding Photos
  • Adding Links

In next week's tutorial, I'll take a look at themes and sharing.
